I usually clean my new home before moving my things into it. This time I did the same as always. But after my things were moved in, my first action was different from what I did previously.

I bought some vegetable pots on the way to my new home. And I planted them in my pots which I set on my balcony. It made me feel that I was home.

I think that the first thing you do after moving into your new home symbolizes your sense of home.

Plants always bring me a sense of home. So when I stay in a hotel for over two days, I sometimes buy a cut flower.

Sometimes limitations help us to do things better. For example, many film directors created their best works when they did not have enough money. In this case, financial limitations helped to create high-quality films.

I live in the countryside which has many limitations compared to cities. And these limitations have guided me to come across a lovely snow globe. Usually I love to buy things which are functional and elegant. When I saw snow globes before, they were cute but seemed big and rustic to me.

But this time, I found an owl snow globe. Owls remind me one of my nephew and I love owl songs. So even if it is non-functional and not quite elegant, I bought a snow globe for the first time in my life.

We often believe that a variety of choices brings something good more than limited choices. But I think that both can bring us something good. It simply depends on our attitude towards the choices in front of us.
