チューリッヒは、物価が高く、体感としては、バルセロナの2倍近くかかるという感覚でした。
しかし、洗練されていて、人も穏やかに話すので、ヨーロッパの中では、日本人に近い人たちだ、という感覚を受けました。南欧と違い、北欧の人は、全般に穏やかに話し、また英語も堪能な人が多いそうです。

Zurich is a very expensive place. From my impression, it is about double the price of Barcelona, Spain. But at the same time it seemed that food and culture were refined and people speak calmly. It reminds me of Japanese and Japan. I heard that unlike southern Europeans, northern Europeans speak calmly and there are a lot of people who speak English fluently.

土曜の夜に、しんしんと雪が降り積もったため、日曜日は、マイナス5℃でした。
ゴア・テックスの靴を持っていたので、雪道を歩くのに、本当に助かりました。
It was 5 degrees below zero on Sunday.
Because the snow was falling thick and fast on Saturday night.
Fortunately I had gore-tex shoes.
It was really helpful to walk on the snowy road.

教会の鐘の音が、それはそれは美しく、思わず音を録音してしまいました。
Sounds of church bells were so beautidul.
I instinctively recorded them!

シェパードをたくさん見かけました。
なかなか日本では見かけないサイズの大型犬が、空港でしっぽを振っている様子は、とても印象的でした。

I saw a lot of German shepherds in Zurich.
It is rare to see such a big dog like a German shepherd in Japan.
It was very impressive for me to see big dogs wagging their tail in Zurich international airport.

チューリッヒの街並みです。写真と関係ありませんが、テレビで”スイスアワード2009″というのをやっていて、医師や大道芸人など、さまざまな分野の人がエントリーしていました。スイスという国の幅をみるようで、とても面白かったです。
This is Zurich, too.
When I saw TV at night, there was a program of “Swiss award 2009”. A variety of people including doctors and sideshow artists were on the list. It was very interesting for me because I felt that it shows a big range of this country.

チューリッヒ中央駅前にある、スイス国立博物館は、おすすめです。
スイスの歴史について、とてもわかりやすく、楽しみながら、知ることができます。
スイスは、多文化社会といえるでしょうが、予想に反し、多くのものが、ドイツ語でのみ記載されていました。
I recommend the Swiss national museum in front of the Zurich central station.
We can learn about the history of Switzeland very easily while having fun.
Switzerland is a multi-cultural country but contrary to my expectations, many things are written in German only.
